This study includes isolation of Staphylococcus aureus from different sources of hospitalized patients that clinically important (urine, nose, CSF, blood, wound) samples from November/2016 to March/ 2017. Twenty three isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated through culture characteristic, morphological and biochemical examination. The antibiotic susceptibility test for all isolates were conducted to antimicrobials agents (penicillin and vancomycin) to determine these isolates that were resistant to Penicillin (MRSA) isolates meanwhile resistant to vancomycin. Consequently, there were three isolates among twenty (MRSA) isolates resistant to vancomycin. Likewise, confirmation test conducted through PCR amplified of VRSA with primer nuc and separation of the PCR products by 0.8 % agarose gel electrophoresis. It is a serious problem that has been facing the world and our society.
